The Killjerk Killer in the Woods is our most ambitious project to date—a love letter to the gritty, low-budget slashers and proto-slashers of the 1970s and 1980s, when horror was raw, unapologetic, and dangerously fun.

​The screenplay is complete, and our creative team is ready, with experienced crew and dedicated actors prepared to bring it to life.

To fully realize this project, we are now seeking partners beyond our usual micro-budget and inviting outside investors to help create an absurd, darkly funny, and highly marketable horror film.​

The Story

​

Deep in the wilderness, fugitive Derek stumbles upon a gnarled, ancient tree pulsing with sinister energy. The dark force inside twists his already fractured mind and transforms him into a monstrous killer.

​

Now reborn as the Killjerk Killer, he stalks the forest, leaving a trail of blood in his wake. With tourist season fast approaching, the local cops—Jack and Bruce—scramble to stop the madness. Meanwhile, the town’s mayor (aptly named Mrs. Mayor) worries less about the murders and more about her re-election campaign.

Our Vision

​

We draw inspiration from cult classics like Don’t Go in the Woods—embracing chaotic pacing, high body counts, and practical gore—while adding our own twisted vision to the mix.

 

While our tone is bizarre, it’s never ironic. Even when things get weird (like, say, a troll), we play it straight. We’re a group of Swedish horror nerds making a film in English, with no intention of following Hollywood rules.

 

The film features some intense and provocative moments, including one that plays with genre taboos in a way that will definitely get people talking.​
