A man finds a strange doll and brings it home. Shortly afterward, he begins to change. Having previously been unwilling to have children, he suddenly becomes obsessed with sex—intense, constant, and without concern for the consequences. The fact that he no longer cares whether it results in pregnancy makes his wife happy; she has long dreamed of having a child and interprets his transformation as a breakthrough.

But the man’s desire quickly grows beyond anything mutual. His requests become increasingly boundary-pushing and unsettling, and what at first felt like a rekindled passion begins to erode their relationship.
